Q Loft is a very plain-looking building indeed. With its industrial-looking beige brick and grey aluminium windows and upper floors it is not avant-garde architecture by any means. It is not ugly though–which is why we’re not ashamed of it being a RenderPornStar. We snapped a few photos on the weekend:
Perhaps a Starbucks on this corner?
We hear the developer-Royal Queen Developments-is gearing up to launch another project in this neighbourhood–your new neighbour?
Or at least site demolition has.
Still to come: our final verdict.
952 Queen Street West–current home to MOCCA and Edward Day Gallery.
How high up above the
art will you live?
A bit surprised…anyone else think it was going to be red brick?
It’ll take awhile longer to figure out the look of this condo … More cladding in our next update? 😉
See you at Danforth and Woodbine in about a month. 🙂
Hey Q Lofts you’re good looking for a box! 😉
Rear alley view:
Q Loft is starting to rise above grade–looking Southwest from under the Queen Street West rail overpass.
We have no idea who that is but we do know Q Loft is at grade.
